Perfectionism can keep you from living out God's purpose for your life. Are you a person who just can't accept the fact that you cannot be absolutely perfect on this side of heaven?
You set high unachievable, unrealistic targets and you get upset when you don't achieve them.
You cannot publish that design or article or blog until you feel that it's absolutely perfect, so you keep editing it again and again and again...
You want that perfect look before you can step out of your home, so you waste a lot of time in front of the mirror.
You want to choose a perfect gift for your friend, so you keep searching and searching for hours.
You want everything to be perfectly planned and sketched out before you can start a project, so you have not started it yet.
You never feel enough. You keep beating yourself up, and you feel like a failure.
Perfectionism is a trap from the devil. It can result in procrastination, a negative mindset, unrealistic expectations, neglecting God's grace and love, and hindering progression in your walk with God.

Luke 16:15 KJV- And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men, but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
Galatians 3:3 KJV - Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Philippians 3:12-14 KJV - Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 KJV - And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
