Many people do not have a problem accepting Jesus as their Savior, in order to be free from their sin debts and to spend eternity in Heaven. However, they do not want Him to be their Lord.
They do not want Him to take control of all the areas of their life and fulfil His plan in their lives. They want to make their own decisions and do life on their own. Nothing can be more foolish than this.
Who can make make wise decisions? You or Jesus?
Who knows you better? You or your the one who knit you in your mother's womb?
Who cares enough for you more than the sinless one who came down from Heaven and died for you?
Who sees the end from the very beginning?
How great are you when compared to the great and mighty universe that God has created?
If you are wise, you will want to surrender every detail of your life and place it under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
If you want the Lordship of Jesus Christ in your life, you must do the following.
You have to willingly give Him the authority over everything in your life.
And the reward for surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus Christ is far greater than any worldly pleasure or wealth you can ever imagine.
Serving Jesus faithfully will give you abundant peace and joy on earth, which doesn’t change according to circumstances. There are also great rewards in heaven for those who serve Him in truth.
Here are some of the Bible Verses that would encourage you to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and live a life free from worry, anxiety and troubles of the world.
