Who is Satan(the Devil)?

Lucifer or Satan was the mightiest Angel created by God. Lucifer out of His pride wanted to become equal to God and hence was cast out of Heaven.

The lord prepared Hell for Lucifer and His followers.

But Satan(Lucifer) being jealous of man, as the first man and woman were loved by God, deceived Eve and Adam.

Satan wants people to go with him, to everlasting hell. All Christ rejecters belong to Satan by default.

Everyone has to die physically on the day appointed by God. But there is another death after death, which is very dangerous and fearsome. The second death is eternal separation from God and being punished for sins in the lake of fire. Every human being has sinned and no one is perfect before a Holy God. There is only one way to escape this fiery Judgement. The ONE True God(Father, Spirit, Son) is the God - who created Heaven and Earth. He loved mankind so much, that He sent His only son Jesus to pay the penalty for our sins on the cross. Jesus is 100% God and 100% man.

Only Jesus's righteousness is perfect enough for heaven, and so, you need to believe in Him ALONE(Not self-righteousness, not Mary, not religion, not saints, not religious leaders) for Eternal Salvation. If you trust in Christ as your Savior, you will not be cast into hell, because you will be perfect on the day of Judgement, through Christ's imputed righteousness. If you believe in your good works, self-righteousness or some other way for your Salvation, you are still not saved from eternal damnation.

 “All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind, our sins sweep us away” (Isaiah 64:6).

1 Corinthians 1:30- "But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption," By accepting Jesus as your saviour, you can prevent this second death(death of your soul).

Bible Verses on Resisting the Devil:

1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

James 4:7 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Ephesians 6:11 - Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 4:27 - Do not give place to the devil.

Ephesians 6:12 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

2 Corinthians 11:14 - And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2 Corinthians 4:4 - In whom the god of this world(Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

John 8:44 - Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and the father of it.

John 10:10 - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.

2 Corinthians 11:3 - But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his cunningness, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Romans 16:20 - And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. Let the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Revelation 12:9 - And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
