The Judgement Seat of Christ(or Bema Seat of Christ) and the Accountability of Believers

Believers are saved by the Grace of God, through faith in Christ alone, and therefore, escaped the eternal punishment in the everlasting Hell. However, we are accountable for our deeds and choices as a believer, in this world.

2 Corinthians 5:10 

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.

All Christians will stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ, giving an account of all our activities on earth. This Judgement is not for unbelievers."

We who are saved will then be rewarded based on our works here on earth. Only Rewards and Accountability!! There is no punishment or condemnation for believers. However, we may lose rewards.

Romans 8:1 - “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Revelation 22:12 - "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."

How busy are we, in seeking the worldly pleasures and riches, which are temporary, while losing the best and permanent rewards that God wants us to receive in heaven??

Matthew 6:19-21 - "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:"

There is a reward for unfair persecution for the sake of God's kingdom. Are people mocking you or doing something evil to you because of your faith and obedience to Jesus? Congratulations!

Matthew 5:12 - "Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."

There is NO White Throne Judgement for believers who have placed their trust in Christ alone for Eternal Salvation. All the past, present and future sins of children of God are forgiven forever. Praise God.
All Christ-rejectors will be judged during the Great White Throne Judgement and cast into Hell. The Day of Christ's return would be a joyous day for believers, but a terrible day for unbelievers.
