Why not worship Jesus plus other gods?

To be saved, you must believe in Christ ALONE as your Savior. He is the only way, not one of the ways.

There are many false gods, but only one living God.

A man-made idol is not God:

God indeed hates idol worship. God created the earth and all the creations in it. Human beings are created in God's image and given authority over all other creatures on earth. It is foolish for man to neglect the creator and worship the things made by his hands. Those man-made idols have ears, but they cannot hear. They have eyes but cannot see. Be wise. Worship the Creator, Not the Creations.

Isaiah 37:19

And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore, they have destroyed them.

Isaiah 42:8

I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

The devil is not God:

Satan and his demons have some power, but their power is limited and not equivalent to or greater than God's power. The devil can perform signs, wonders and miracles too. Even today, many people are deceived by the miracles of the devil, the power of witchcraft, fortune-tellers etc. They do not realize that God's power is incomparably greater than all the evil powers. Satan can only do what God allows him to do.

Deuteronomy 32:17

They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

God hates idol worship:

Worshipping another god is intolerable and unacceptable to the one true living God. An idol can be a molten image, a statue, money, fame, power, beauty or even your loved ones. Anything that takes or replaces God's place in your life is your idol.

Exodus 20:3

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Worshipping other gods can never profit you anything but only make your soul suffer.
