What is the Fourh commandment of Sabbath? Is Church Attendance, membership and Sabbath required today in New Covenant?

The Bible encourages us to have fellowship with other believers.

Godly fellowship is essential for believers and going to Church regularly helps you stay focused on God and to experience the joy of worshipping God along with other members of God's family.

why is church attendance important?

Sabbath day was created for the people of God during the old testament days, to enable them to rest from labour and to remember that God is the one who meets the needs of His people. Now, as believers, we have permanent rest in Christ, all the days of the week. However, it is wise to keep a day of the week away from work and the pressures of life, solely to focus on God and restThis shows the world that your trust is not in your work, but God's providence and goodness.

As Christians, we should always live in the presence of God, not just on Sundays. We must glorify God in whatever we do, every day.

If we are at work, we must work for God, with dependence on God, with thankfulness.

All the re-creation, vacation and leisure time we have can be turned for God's glory, if we are grateful to God for the same.

1 Corinthians 10:31

“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

We must never forget that the New Testament Church is not a building, but the body of believers. We are the Church of the living God. The Holy Spirit of God indwells in us and all who have trusted and accepted Christ as Savior.

1 Corinthians 6:19

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"
